"Monson- Frances E. (Clemons) Marcoux, 88, formerly of Hovey Rd. in Monson, passed away January 25, 2007 at Wingate at Wilbraham. Born July 24, 1918 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Charles Leroy and Ethel M. (Kemp) Clemons. Frances was raised in Springfield and lived there until moving to Monson, where she resided for 22 years. She was a home health aid for many years in private care and enjoyed cooking and helping the elderly. Frances was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Springfield. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Marcoux in 1966 and will be greatly missed by her children, Joyce Walsh of Belchertown, Charles of Springfield, Sandy Harrell of Newport News, VA, Paul of St. Claire, MI, Donna Bellefeuille of Monson, and Linda O’Connell of Sammamish, WA. Frances also leaves a brother Kenneth Clemons of Springfield, 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and many close friends. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte. 20) followed by burial in Oak Knoll Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, January 29 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in her memory to either Quaboag Valley Hospice, 42 B Wright St., Palmer, MA or the American Cancer Society, 20 Speen St. Framingham, MA 01701. "
