"Hadley - Elaine L. (Harre) Brunelle, 90, died on September 2, 2014 in Genesis Hadley at Elaine, surrounded by her family. Born May 17, 1924 in South Hadley, she was the daughter of John and Sophia (Lacey) Harre. Elaine was raised in Holyoke and lived there for 70 years, before moving to Belchertown. In her leisure, she enjoyed shopping and going out to eat. She will be missed by her children, Jack Brunelle and his wife Janice of CA, Karen Bjorklund and husband Kenth, of Sweden, Melodie Hafner and husband Bob, Debra Dodge and husband Chuck all of Belchertown, James Brunelle and wife Jennifer and Thomas Brunelle and wife Beth all of CA. She also leaves a daughter-in-law Jean Brunelle of Holyoke, 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Brunelle, son, Donald Brunelle, sister Mildred Aldrich and brother John Harre. A Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story S. Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton ST, (Rte 116) followed by burial in Village Cemetery.
