" Colleen R. (Dooney) Conklin, 57, of Jackson St., died January 22, 2007 at Mary Lane Hospital. Born in Pittsfield, MA on August 26, 1949 daughter of the late Joan (Amerio) Pratt and Edward Dooney of Pittsfield. Colleen has lived in Belchertown for six years and previously resided in Springfield and Crestview FL. Colleen owned Angelic Delights a craft business know for making butterfly, dragonfly, angel and dove “Suncatchers”, to many she was known as the Butterfly Lady. She also worked for many years for Kelly Services a temp agency in the Pittsfield area. Colleen was a member of the Belchertown Congregational Church. Besides her father she is survived by her husband of 24 years Alfred “Skip” Conklin, a daughter Laura J. Easter of Palm Beach, FL and son Stephen W. Conklin of Shelburne Falls, MA. She will also be missed by a sister Kathy Covert and her husband Harry and their twins Christian and Aaron and a granddaughter Jessica P. Andino of FL. A calling hour will be Friday from 10:00-11:00a.m.in the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home, followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in South Cemetery.
