Seda Kasparian Shallue, our beloved mother passed quietly on March 1, 2015. Living a full file until the age of 96, mother is preceded in death by her loving husband Thomas J. Shallue, sisters Navart Kasparian, Hasmik Kasparian and Shushik Kasparian. She is survived by her son’s Michael F. Shallue, Kevin B. Shallue, daughter Debra Shallue, grandson’s Brian Joseph Shallue, Thomas James Shallue, grand daughter-in-law Katelyn Albrittain Shallue. Born in Tehran, Iran she grew up, educated and worked within the US Embassy. Here she met our father,Thomas J. Shallue, who was stationed as a US Marine and were soon married. They returned to the United States and settled in Washington DC in the mid 40’s. Mother was a devoted wife and homemaker, raised two boys, worked in the banking industry and as a sales associate for Hecht Company when retired. Mother loved hosting parties and dinners, traveling, reading, cooking, sewing, spoke three different languages and enjoyed going shopping with her girlfriends. She loved to ride horses as a teenager and was a feline fancier later in life. Always thoughtful and kind she had many friends who she dearly loved and held close throughout her life. Mother leaves us with wonderful memories and will be forever adorned by her family. A private funeral will be held Monday, March 9th, 11:15 am at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
