"North Billerica - Lorraine P. (Potts) MacDougall, 58, passed away May 13, 2017. Born in Pittsburg, PA on June 6, 1958, she was the daughter of James and Dolores Potts. Growing up in Palmer, she has lived in Groton for 3 years and Shirley for 15 years. Lorraine enjoyed shopping, gardening, embroidery, and time with her family. In August 2016, she was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Matthew MacDougall. Lorraine will be missed by her two daughters, Lorna MacDougall and her partner, Eric Marques of Nashua, NH, and Emma MacDougall and her partner, Andy Lagana of Stafford Springs CT along with her mother, Dolores Potts of Palmer and siblings Nancy Grove of Tynsborough, MA and Jimmy Potts of VA. She also leaves many extended family members. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 20th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home with a celebration of life to begin at 12:00 p.m. Donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association 480 Pleasant Street Watertown, MA 02472 or Dakin Humane Society P.O. Box 6307, Springfield, Massachusetts 01101. "
