"Palmer - Mary (Gramolini) Franco, 92, died on April 29, 2017 at Life Care Center of Wilbraham. Born December 17, 1924 in Springfield, MA, daughter of Louis and Antoinette (Gaudenzi) Gramolini. Mary had lived in Springfield for many years before moving to Palmer. She retired from Mt. Carmel School in Springfield as an administrative assistant after working for many years. She was also a former member of Mt. Carmel Church. Mary enjoyed going to the mall and most of all spending time surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed by her daughters, Rosemary Falzone and husband Richard of Willmington, MA, and Janice Franco-Shea of Palmer. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Monica, Jessica, Bryant, Alyssa, Erin, Shannon, Sarah and Megan, 12 great grandchildren Jocelyn, Alexandria, Garrett, Shayne, Taysia, Madisyn, Edward, Micayla, Avery, Ariana, Joshua, Simone, Mirasol, Zaiden and Zoie. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Alfred V. Franco in 2012, son Donald Franco in 1992 , son-in-law Christopher Shea in 2014, a brother Louis Gramolini and her sister Eva Torricelli. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 9:00-10:30 am at the Beers and Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m at St. Cecelia's Church in Wilbraham. Burial will follow in the St. Anne's Cemetery in Three Rivers, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 72 East Concord Street, C3, Boston, MA 02118.
