"Belchertown - Patricia L. (Wykowski) Antonovitch, 75, of Chauncey Walker St., passed away on August 6, 2014, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on July 29, 1939 in Westfield, MA, daughter of the late James and Genevieve (Kielbasa) Wykowski. She was raised in Westfield and graduated from St. Mary's School in 1956, after graduating she moved to Belchertown. Pat retired from the Belchertown Police Dept in 1999 as an administrative assistant after working for 23 years. She was the first women to be sworn in as a police women in Belchertown. She previously worked as an aide at Memorial School as well as a crossing guard at Cold Spring School. She was an active communicant of St. Francis Church, after her retirement she began working as a secretary for the church. Pat was involved with religious education and started the prayer shawl ministry. She was a former Treasurer on the board of directors at Pine Valley Plantation. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling, some of her travels took her to the Holy Land, Europe, Hawaii, Arizona and Mexico. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 55 years, Stanley Antonovitch of Belchertown, two sons James Antonovitch of Belchertown and Kevin Antonovitch and his wife Vicki of Yarmouth Port, MA. She also leaves her beloved grandson Brandon and close friend Sandi Dunbar. Patricia was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Superski. Family and friends may gather to Celebrate her Life, at Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 9:15 am to proceed to a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m in St. Francis Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westfield. Calling hours will be Sunday from 2-5:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Baystate Mary Lane Oncology Department or a charity of your choice. "
