"Patricia A. Jimmo, 76, of Edbert St., died on August 3, 2014 in Springfield, MA. She was born August 12, 1937 in Mapleton, ME, daughter of the late George and Amanda (Hafford) Alley. In 1955, Patricia and Medley Jimmo were united in marriage and together they raised their family where she was a homemaker. Patricia enjoyed spending her free time going for Sunday drives, knitting, and working on her puzzle books. Surviving are her children, Steven of Chicopee, Lou Ann Yurchick of Chicopee, Daniel (Jan) of FL, Linwood of VA, Alan (Dorey) of South Hadley, Brian (Theresa) of Granby, Donald (Tita) of NY, Kenneth (Holly) of Chicopee, and brother, Lonnie (Gail) Alley of NC. In addition, Patricia leaves her 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. Besides her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Medley Jimmo. Visitation will be Friday, August 8, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. when a Celebration of Life service will be held, at the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home. Interment will follow in South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans."
