Anne Marie (Nancy) Mangan Willette May 27, 1923 – December 12, 2014 Nancy passed peacefully from this life the morning of December 12th after a short illness. She was surrounded and supported by many loving family members. Nancy is survived by eight children (and spouses): Jim Willette (Diane), Marian Cannell (Tim), Pat Lachman (Charlie), Barbara Willette, Virginia Willette-Green (Mark), Phil Willette (Kate), Terry Witt (Walter), and Beth Scott (Ron); twelve grandchildren: Jay (Jennifer), Mark, and Matt (Hawna) Willette; Colin (Bethany), Evan (Kim), Rowan (Josh Bowman), and Brendan Cannell; Katherine Lachman; Tenaya and Molly Willette-Green; Jack and Joe Willette; and Sean Witt; and six great grandchildren: Rebecca, Abbey, Rachel, Morgane, Kaia, and Lexi. She is also survived by her sisters Mary (Ray) D’Amato and Alice (Rich) Roerig. She was preceded in death by her husband James Maxwell, parents James and Mary Mangan, brother John and sister-in-law Kay Mangan, and grandson Maxwell Lachman. The family will greet friends at Advent Funeral Home, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA, on Friday, December 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Church, Falls Church, VA, on Saturday, December 20, at 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
