"Brimfield - Jesse L. Via, 52, died suddenly on April 19, 2017. Born July 19, 1964 in Ware, MA, son of Mary (Shoum) Via of E. Longmeadow and the late Luther E. Via, Jr. Besides his mother, he will be deeply missed by his wife of 29 years and high school sweet heart, Karin (Gerliep) Via of Brimfield. His greatest joy and accomplishment in his life were his three sons, Joshua, Christopher, and Matthew. He also leaves five siblings, Sherri Via, Doreen Via, Tom Via and his wife Kay, Cindy Anzalotti and her husband Paul, and Lori Via. He will also be missed by his mother-in-law, Arlene Gerliep of Monson, sister -in-law Kristin Provost and husband Richard, many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was raised in Monson and has lived in Brimfield since 1990. He was the owner of Jesse Via Concrete Services, Inc. Jesse had an extreme passion for fishing, was a member of many fishing leagues and was an avid Patriots and Bruins fan. He also enjoyed golfing, visiting the casinos, as well as playing poker with his buddies. Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 24th at 10:00 a.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery in Monson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or Shriner's Hospital. For more information please, please visit www.beersandstory.com. "GONE FISHING"."
