Peter John Cutts, a resident of Falls Church, passed away on July 3, 2019, at the age of 70, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Peter is survived by his wife of 34 years, Valerie; his two children, Ashley and Michael; his brother, Robert; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Peter was born in London, England, on May 31, 1949, to Edward and Wendy Cutts. He worked as a double-decker bus driver and fashion photographer in London before moving to the United States in 1972. In the mid-80s, he established Peter Cutts Photography in Washington, D.C. and provided corporate photographic services to many of the nation’s leading industries and federal government. Washingtonian Magazine listed Peter Cutts Photography as one of the ten most recommended photographers in Washington, D.C. He was a member of the United States House & Senate Press Photographers Gallery, Professional Photographers of America, and National Press Club. Aside from his career, Peter enjoyed his beach home in Delaware, working in the garden, watching soccer (especially West Ham United), and being a referee. And, of course, enjoying all the politics Washington, D.C. had to offer. Family and friends are invited to the memorial gathering to be held at Advent Funeral & Cremation Services, 7211 Lee Highway, Falls Church, VA 22046, from 1:00pm-5:00pm on Saturday, July 27.
