"Belchertown-Shannon Ann (Warren) Ferris, 51, of Canal Dr. passed away December 30, 2006 at home. Born December 10, 1955 in Washington, D.C., she is the daughter of Shirley (Crane) Warren and the late Schley Warren Jr. She has lived in Belchertown since 1972 and worked at Cimex Corp. in Belchertown for over nine years. Shannon previously worked at Tambrands for over 20 years. Shannon enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling, sewing and crafts and was an amateur photographer. She was a strong supporter of Breast Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, and locks of love. Shannon was always smiling, cheerful, and had the biggest heart. She will be greatly missed by her mother Shirley Warren of Chicopee along with her husband of 25 years, Patrick J., her son Jason and his girlfriend Mariah of Montague and siblings Schley A. III and his wife Judy of S.Hadley, Stewart A. and his wife Beth of Granby, Stephan A. and his wife Lisa of Palmer, Sherry A. Sullivan and her partner Bill Zobka of Belchertown, and Samantha A. Richards and her partner Robert Siver of Dolgeville, NY. Shannon also leaves a great aunt Ann Szetela, aunt Marion and George Killacky all of Chicopee, uncle Bill and Ann Crane of Sarasota, FL, many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, her in-laws, Patrick and Lucille Ferris of Melbourne, FL and cat Taz. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Beers & Story Belchertown Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Church.
