James Michael Halligan (age 58) of Fairfax Station, VA lost his battle with Cancer on Wednesday October 29, 2014. He is survived by his best friend/wife of 31 years, Cynthia; his four children Megan Zerfas (Dave), Nathan Halligan (Randi), Kelly Smith (Spencer), Caitlin Halligan (Nicholas); his four grandchildren, Rebecca and Samantha Zerfas, Nathan Halligan Jr. (Mac), and Michael Declan Smith. His brother John Halligan (Debbie) his sisters, Mary Robyak (Bob), Julie Bates (Tab). A Memorial Service is will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church Burke, VA at 11:00. A gathering of family and friends to follow at the home of Roger and Sue McLeod. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s name to the American Cancer Society (https://donate.cancer.org)
