" Roger G. St. Laurent, 50, of Monson Road died Saturday, December 23 at his home. Born in Ludlow, November 15, 1956, he was the beloved son of Gerard St. Laurent of Ft. Pierce, FL and Jacqueline St. Laurent of Wales. The oldest of seven children, he grew up in Wales and was a graduate of Tantasqua Regional High School in 1974. Roger has worked as a carpenter for 30 years in the family business, St. Laurent Brothers in Ware, initially for his father who is now retired, currently with his brothers, Mark and Lee. Besides his parents, he is survived by his “pride and joy”, his daughter Amber, along with her mother Tina Fricke of Ware. He also leaves two sisters Linda and Dianne St. Laurent of Wales, four brothers Mark and his wife Tammy of Ware, Lee and Scott of Wales and Gerald of CT, along with his maternal grandmother Rita Tetreault of Sturbridge. Roger also leaves his godfather, Roger Tetreault and his wife Rose of Wales, several aunts, uncles, cousins and his nephews Kevin, Nicholas, Mikey and Jacob as well as his nieces Ashley and Alexis. Additionally, he leaves Tina’s children Shane Fricke and Samantha Apraham. His grandfather, Zenon, predeceased him. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be Friday evening, December 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home, 1475 N. Main St., (Rte.20). Calling hours will precede the service from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. For those wishing, donations may be made in his memory to his daughter Amber St. Laurent, c/o Country Bank, Main St., Palmer."
