"Three Rivers - Norman F. "Apple" Lowell, 78, of Belanger St., passed away on December 31, 2010 at Wing Memorial Hospital. He was born May 10, 1932 in Bridgeport, Vermont, son of Norman and Kay (Faye) Lowell. Norman worked as a truck driver for the former Wheaton Van Lines for over 30 years. He also volunteered his time at many functions for the Palmer House. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Susan (Grenier) Lowell of Three Rivers. He also leaves a daughter Pamela Sylvester and her husband William of Worcester, son Ed Lowell of Charlton, MA, two stepsons Mark Marsceill of Three Rivers and Randy Marsceill of Milbridge, ME, a sister Leona Roberts of Monson, brother Irving Lowell and his wife Barbara of Agawam and three grandchildren. He will also be missed by three nieces and a nephew and his beloved cat Goldie. A graveside service will be held on Wed., January 12 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Anne's Cemetery in Three Rivers. Beers & Story Palmer Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Palmer House, 250 Shearer St., Palmer, MA 01069. "
