"Chicopee, Ruth E. Trudeau, 81, died on Friday, April 13 at her daughter's home in Ludlow with her family by her side. Born on October 18, 1930, she was the daughter of Gerald and Eileen McCann. She resided in Chicopee for most of her life and was a communicant of St. Anne Church. She enjoyed time at home with her family , gardening, boating, camping and pulling a slot or two at Mohegan Sun. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 22 years, Rene Trudeau, her six children, Donald Bradley of VT, Denise Martins and her husband Virgilio of Chicopee, Clyde Bradley and his wife Paula of VT, Michael Bradley of Chicopee, Tammy Enman and her husband Douglas of Ludlow and Cheryl Reese and her husband Richard of Chicopee along with her 11 precious grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her sisters, Jane Parker, Patricia Mari and Joan all of Agawam and step-children, Rene Trudeau and his wife Debra of IL, Edward Trudeau and his wife Linda of Holyoke, Marianne Mooney and her husband Steve of Westfield and Joanne Jarvis and her husband David of Greenfield also survive her. The family extends their gratitude to Marie Cruz and the staff of Hospice Life Care. Donations in Ruth's memory may be made to Hospice Life Care, 113 Hampden St., Holyoke, MA 01040. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, April 17, at 8:45 a.m. a Beers & Story South Hadley Funeral Home, 646 Newton St., followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Anne Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are on Monday from 5 to 7:00 p.m. "
