Ernest D. "Sandy" Grady, Jr. passed away in Reston, VA on April 14, 2015. A memorial service was held in Reston on May 2. A native Charlottean, Sandy was a former sportswriter for the old "Charlotte News". A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30, at 2pm, at Oaklawn Cemetery, 1615 Oaklawn Ave., Charlotte, NC 28216, with friends and family attending. Following the service, a gathering will take place at the Meadows at Foxcroft Clubhouse, 4513 Simsbury Rd., 28226.
