Christopher Kader Mr. Kader, 54, of Charlotte died at his residence on Friday, April 11, 2014. Chris was born November 9, 1959, in Rowan, County, NC. He was a hair stylist for forty years. He enjoyed gardening; fishing and being with friends and family but, his passion was for his animals. Mr. Kader was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, Heath "Pete" and Wilma McCullough Vanadore. He is survived by his life partner, Bill Little; his dogs, Winston and Cotton; mother, Rebecca Craig and husband, Carl; brother, Alan Kader; Nephew Drew Kader; stepsister, Sandy C. Edmonds and husband, Jeff; step niece Jordan and step nephew Justin. A service to celebrate his life will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2014, in the chapel of Hankins & Whittington Funeral Service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to the Spay Neuter Charlotte, Cary Bernstein, Executive Director, 2017 N. Davidson St., Suite A, Charlotte, NC 28205 or Humane Society of Charlotte, 2700 Toomey Ave., Charlotte, NC 28203.
