Renee Mary Orzechowski
March 20th, 1943 - February 20th, 2024
South Hadley, MA. - Reneé Mary Orzechowski, 80, passed away February 20, 2024 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Paris, France. She moved to the United States with her family when she was 8 years old. She grew up in Hatfield, MA until she married her husband Stanley Orzechowski. They spent the remainder of their years residing in South Hadley. Reneé dedicated 30 years employed at Mt Holyoke College. When she retired, she was able to travel with her husband in their RV to every state in the USA expect Hawaii. Besides Reneé's love for travel,she also enjoyed spending time with friends and family. She also loved various artistic hobbies. She found joy in sewing, quilting, painting and collage. In her later years, Reneé loved to spend time at the South Hadley Council on Aging. There she was able to meet with friends as well as attend many activities. Reneé was predeceased by her husband Stanley. She is survived by her three children Linda Herron (Jeffrey) of Belchertown, Paul Orzechowski (Kimberly) of Hawley, MA and Diane McCarthy (Robert) of Belchertown, MA as well as two siblings Laura Widelo and Michael Antosz. She also leaves four grandchildren; Scott, Joshua, Samantha and Jake as well as two great grandchildren; Scarlette and Shelby Renee. A private memorial service will be held at the family's leisure. Beers and Story South Hadley Funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
