Daniel Anthony Contreras

Daniel Anthony Contreras age 62 of Lakewood, Colorado went to be with the Lord on January 17, 2020. Born August 19, 1957 he was one of seven children to Cencio and Teresa Contreras. He grew up in Commerce City Colorado. A loving husband, dad, brother and grandfather. Daniel is survived by his wife Carol Contreras, his children Phillip(Lena), Jessica, Passion, Danelle(Eddie), Naomi. He is survived by his brothers and sisters Bobby(Bernice), Dolores(Lawerence),David(Patty),Richard(Cathy),Loretta(George),and Roger and much loved nieces and nephews. Grandchildren Felipe Jr, Elyjah, Eleena, Desirae, Angel, Dalilah, Bella, Jevon, Dominic, Bobby, Michael, John. Daniel was his mom’s baby and thus the whole family’s baby. If you knew Daniel you would know that he was or should I say he still is a Denver Bronco. I can guarantee you that you will never know another person who LOVED the Broncos like him. Baseball and softball were also a big part of his life playing on numerous teams with his family and friends. He was a fierce competitor who played to win!!! He was the cool uncle that was loved by his nieces and nephews and I can’t leave out his love for CHEESEBURGERS. Daniel and Carol have been members of His Love fellowship Church for 10 years, where they got married. Daniel was very active in the church, he was a prayer warrior for many, he did men’s bible studies, drove the community van also was a driver for the food bank of the Rockies. He also ushered and participated in our church and in the community. He also went out to the homeless to give blankets, gloves and hats. He was a truly blessed man of all. Daniel loved his dog Diamond they did everything with each other. Daniel loved God first but also loved his wife Carol and his family and friends because that was Daniel.
