AMATO- Ethel (Weiner) 91, of Largo, FL formerly of Delray, FL and Mattapan. Entered Eternal Rest on February 24, 2013. Her passion was her family and was buoyed by their presence in her life. Devoted wife of the late Sam Amato, with whom she participated in community theatre, notably the Milton (MA) Players and in Kings Point in Delray FL; he would direct and act and she the backstage manager. Together they volunteered their time at nursing homes and brightened patient's days with music and song. Beloved mother of Barbara & Harvey Feltquate, Janet & Rick Miller and Larry & Ellen Amato. Cherished grandmother of David, Deborah, Amy, Alison, Suzanne and Michelle. Proud great grandmother of Brad, Alex, Ethan, Jakob, Joshua, Tyler, Sam, John and Grace. Dear sister of the late Mollie Ship and Nathan Weiner. Service at the Goldman Funeral chapel 174 Ferry St. (off Route 60) MALDEN on Wednesday February 27 at 12 Noon. Interment in Everett. Condolence calls may be made following the interment at Anthony's Banquet Hall 105 Canal St. Malden. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy in her memory may be donated to Gulf Coast Hospice 1201 5th Avenue N Suite 505 St. Petersburg, FL 33705 or a charity of one's choice. David C.
