James Albert Rock, age 54, of Las Vegas died Saturday, September 5, 2009. James was born March 23, 1955 in Des Moines, IOWA. He is the son of the late James E and the late Jane Hannah (Polk) Rock. James served as a recovery specialist in the US Army. He was employed as a Tractor Trailer Driver for US Food Service. He loved driving and by all accounts was a workaholic. He also served as a Shop Steward for Union 14. James is survived by his wife of 28 years, Irma (Klein). The funeral will be held at 9:20 AM on Thursday, September 10 at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, 1900 Buchanan Blvd., Boulder City, NV. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to his widow, Irma, to help cover expenses.
