Gerald I. Waller 85, a resident of Florida for over 25 years. He was the beloved husband of Rita Waller for over 50 years. Gerry was born in Bronx, New York, son of Simon and Edith Waller. He was a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York, NY and was a Navy Veteran. Gerry was an avid sports fan, rooting for the New York Yankees, Tampa Bay Rays and Dallas Cowboys. Gerry is survived by his wife Rita, son Robert and daughter Lee Albright, step-daughters Debi Starr and Vicki Kowalski, six grandchildren, Kayla Bower and Travis Albright (Lee), Jordan and Jessie Pople (Debi) and Ali and Jake Bucher (Vicki). He is also survived by his sister Beatrice Travis and several nieces, nephews and many dear friends as well as his tennis buddies. Graveside Services were held March 3rd at 10:00 AM with Rabbi Baseman officiating at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. Funeral arrangements provided by David C. Gross Funeral Home, St. Petersburg, Florida.
