Frederick (Fred) Bumgarner, 95, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2014 at home. He was born September 29, 1918 in Marion, Ohio where he resided for over 70 years. He was a long time visitor to Cocoa Beach, Fla. and became a permanent resident in 1999. He worked at the Marion Power Shovel Company and retired after 43 years of employment. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII in the Pacific Theater. Survivors include Phillip (Sharon) of Palm Bay, Fla., Jerry and Scott of Cocoa Beach, Fla. and Laurie (Aaron) Cornelius of Marion, Ohio; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife June of 65 years. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of your choice.
