Madeline Ann Glass, June 22, 1938 to December 31, 2021 Madeline A. Glass (Ann), age 83, was placed in the arms of Jesus on December 31, 2021, in Englewood, Colorado. Ann was born in Polk County, Florida to George Amos Cumbie and Eva Irene Cumbie (Ellison) on June 22, 1938. She was the youngest of 4 children. Ann attended high school in Lakeland, Florida where she was a cheerleader and sang in the choir. After having 2 children, she then completed cosmetology school and raised her children as a single mother. Ann loved to cook, fish and work in the garden. Left to honor Ann and remember her love are Ann’s two children, Sharon Cline (Greg) and John Glass (Lois); seven grandchildren; Courtney O’Brien (Justin), Alexandra Arlotta (Francesco), Betty Bello (Marcos), Amber Berry, Jessica Beasley, David Glass (Ashley), and Ashley Glass; sixteen great grandchildren; Kiela O’Brien, Addison O’Brien, Emily Berry, Lauralye Ray, Kaynee Bello, Liam Bello, Cody Berry, Brandon Batchelor, Alexis Batchelor, Sophia Dunson, Payton Graham, Skylar Graham, Matthew Beasley, Bryson Beasley, Cayden Cross, and Nathan Glass; a sister, Jeannette Carroll and many nieces and nephews. Ann was preceded in her death by her parents, her brother, William (Bill) Cumbie, and sister, Betty Horn (Cumbie). She will always be remembered as having a giving heart and an extraordinary love for God, her family and her country. Ann’s remains will be taken to Florida where her life will be celebrated by her beloved family and friends at 1409 Wood St., Deland, Florida 32724 on March 6, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. She will be missed…
