Mr. Kenneth S. Botts, 61, of Greensboro died Monday, May 4, 2009, at Moses Cone Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, at Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Chapel, with the Reverend Lloyd Smith and Reverend Walter Botts officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Mr. Botts was born in Guilford County to Angus and Blanche Hemphill Botts. He loved base ball, fishing, and golf and was of the Baptist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Billy and Leon Botts. Mr. Botts is survived by his wife, Carmen Crabtree Botts; sisters Barbara (Larry) Levan and Edith B. (Ronnie) McNeal; brothers, AB Botts Jr., George (Sharron) Botts, Walter (Cathy) Botts, Doug (Cindy) Botts and Tony (Sherry) Botts; sister-in-law, Nell Botts; several nieces, nephews, and a special great-nephew, Daniel Wyrick. The family will receive friends from 12 to 2 pm Thursday, prior to the service and at other times at the home of Edith B. McNeal, 300 Denny Road, Greensboro.
