Frances Suttles Ritter, age 100 of Greensboro, NC passed away Saturday December 2, 2017 at Hospice Home of Rockingham County, in Reidsville, NC. A graveside service will be held in a Green Hill City Cemetery in Greensboro Tuesday December 5, 2 pm. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family. Frances was born February 22, 1917 to the late Turner Settles and Minnie Needham Suttles in Greenville, SC. She worked as a legal secretary for a law firm and was a member Proximity United Methodist Church. Surviving are her daughter Joleen Marie Ritter, son Herbert Ritter and wife Margaret, grandchildren Lisa Branson and Shane Levan, great grandchildren Michael and Ryan Branson and a brother J.T. Suttles. Preceding her in death along with her parents are her husband Ralph J. Ritter, a brother Lefoy Suttles and a sister Angie Hodgins.
