Mrs. Martha Biggs, 90, of Greensboro, died Thursday, February 23, 2012, at Heartland Living Center in Greensboro. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon, Saturday, March 17, 2012 at First Christian Church, 1900 W. Market Street, Greensboro, NC, with the Reverend Lee Hull Moses officiating. Burial will be in Grove Church Cemetery, Gambler, Ohio at a later date. Mrs. Biggs was born December 12, 1921 in Newark, Ohio, to Herbert and Sara Borroway Woolard. She was married to the late John D. Biggs. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Davis. Mrs. Biggs is survived by her daughter, Barbara Moehring (Don), of Greensboro; son, Brad Biggs (Margaret), of Wellington, FL; sisters, Carol Woolard, of Greensboro, Evelyn Rowley, of Niceville, FL, and Dorothy Motz (Dick), of Loudonville, Ohio; grandchildren, Mitchell Moering (Rebekah, of Durham, NC, Megan Moehring, of Richmond, VA, Cameron Biggs, of Wellington, FL; great-grandson Leo Moehring, of Durham, NC. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church Memorial Fund, 1900 W. Market Street, Greensboro, NC 27403. Lambeth-Troxler Funeral Home is assisting the Biggs family.
