Regan Setzer Elrod was called to be with the Lord September 12, 2021. Regan was born to Danny and Janice Setzer on November 16, 1979 in Columbia, SC. Regan was employed for many years at various hospitals in the Prisma Health System, as well as caring for patients in their homes. She absolutely loved her career as a Nurse RN, where she found joy in helping those in her community. Regan will be remembered as a loving and caring person. She was known for opening her home to the various kids in her community to offer them a safe place to spend time. Many of them came to know her as a loving mother figure in their lives. She regarded all of her friends as family and treated them as such. Regan will be deeply missed by her family and community. Regan leaves behind her husband of 17 years, Chris Elrod; children, Cage Camron Elrod, Cane Christopher Elrod, Casen Cade Elrod, and Caten Cale Elrod; parents, Danny and Janice Setzer; brother, Canyon Setzer; in-laws, Roy and Janie Elrod; and stepdaughter, Heaven Sizemore. Regan is predeceased by her grandparents, Waddell and Kathleen Blackmon, Fred Setzer, and Gay Daniel Setzer; and daughter, Calen Cade Elrod. A Graveside Service for Regan will be held at Southland Memorial Gardens at 700 W Dunbar Rd, West Columbia on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 3:00pm.
