William (Bill) W. Britton, 91, formerly of El Paso, Texas, passed away on February 20, 2014. He was born May 29, 1922, in Clint, Texas, to Arthur Britton and Annie Fortenberry. He married Peggy Mae Viles, of El Paso, Texas, on August 16, 1942. He served in the US Army Air Corps from 1942 – 1945, as Radar Repairman. He spent most of his career in the trucking business. He enjoyed his Airstream travel trailer and had many years of enjoyment traveling with Peggy. He is survived by his wife and children: William (Maureen), Robert, and Kelen (Stewart); grandchildren Ryan (Nicola) Kelsey (James), Bryce (Nyssa), and Britton; great-grandchildren Veronica, Wesley, Holden, Amanda, Matthew, Hannah and Ila James; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thanks to MJ who was always there for us and to Solamor Hospice for their caring help and attention in his last days. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Wounded Warriors at woundedwarriorproject.org. A memorial service will be held at a later date. I love you Dad…I love you too!
