Nathaniel "Tito" Ray Lopez
June 2nd, 2004 - January 13th, 2023
“For what is your life? It is a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.” - James 4:14…That is what can only describe as the time we had with Tito. Nathaniel Ray Lopez, a.k.a Tito, was born on June 2nd, 2004 in Mooresville, NC to parents Adelaida Gonzalez (Rodriguez) and Reynaldo Lopez. He grew up mainly in Lugoff, SC and West Columbia, SC. Tito was a rambunctious little boy, as most are, and was always one to bring life to any situation. Tito was always active, whether he was outside playing with friends or playing tennis and football on the school team. He excelled at football and played cornerback for White Knoll Middle School. Tito also had a love for anything with a motor in it…cars, motorcycles, boats…anything that would fill that need for speed. He grew to have numerous friends in the car club culture that served as a second family for him. Tito wasn’t without his faults and mistakes in life, especially early on, but in his later years he was making tremendous strides in life…even mending bridges with those he loved and that loved him. Tito had seven siblings, Yesenia Nazario (32), Martin Hosier (passed away at 20yrs old), Dahiana Rodriguez (28), Nathalie Lopez (24), Noah Gonzalez (21), Jeffrey Rose (13) and Zoe Gonzalez (13). We are overwhelmed by all the love, support and comfort provided by all who called, texted, came by, sent cards, donated money and donated time. We are without words. We wanted to say an extra special thank you to The Harvest Church and staff for hosting and serving in Tito’s service. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 27, 2023 at The Harvest Church, 4865 Sunset Blvd., Lexington, SC., with burial at Lexington Memorial Gardens, Lexington, SC. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday night at Thompson Funeral Home, 4720 Augusta Rd., Lexington, SC. For those unable to attend the service, it will be streaming live here.
