Mary Shealy Galloway

Mary Shealy Galloway, 93, of Chapin, SC, died Monday, July 24, 2023. Born in Columbia, SC, she was the daughter of the late Cebar Shealy and Gerstel Price Shealy. She was a retired employee from Farm Bureau and was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Chapin. Ms. Galloway is survived by her sons, Hal Galloway (Patricia) of Rosman, NC and Keith Galloway (Lou) of Lexington, SC; daughter, Pam Frazzitta (Frank) of Fairview, TX and daughter-in-law, Sandra Galloway. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Kathy Galloway, Steven Galloway, Lindsay Hutchinson, Kevin Frazzitta, Ben Galloway, Wes Galloway, and Liz Neil. As well as 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Harry Galloway, Jr., and her son, William Steven Galloway. A Memorial Service will be August 19, 2023 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 900 Dreher Island Rd, Chapin, SC, 29036. Visitation is at 2pm in the Fellowship Hall with the Memorial Service at 3pm. Interment will be a private family service. Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church Family Life Center. The family would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks to Renel “Nell” Maddox, Dorothy Caldwell and all the ladies at Angel Care of Newberry who helped keep Mom comfortable the last few months.
