Jerald (Jerry) Hackworth, 60, of Harleyville, husband of the late Katrina Hackworth, passed away on Thursday, January 20th, 2022. Jerry was born in St. Louis, MO on April 13, 1961 to the late Jerold Hackorth, and Ruby Hackworth. He served in the Army for four years following highschool and then went into the Navy reserves for two years. He then became a lifelong manager at McDonald's where he worked for 40 years. Jerry was a kind, humble, Godly man and a very patient and loving father. Jerry enjoyed serving his church and church family, and spending time with his children and girlfriend, Karen Chandler. He loved baseball and reading the Bible. Jerry is survived by his two children, Hunter Hackworth, Ashlyn Gerolaga and son-in-law Josiah Gerolaga, girlfriend Karen Chandler, as well as his five siblings Evelyn Infinger, Regina Mayer, Tammy Crymes, Steve Hackworth, and Todd Hackworth along with many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 23rd at Calvary Baptist Church from 4-5 PM located at 1555 South Live Oak Dr. Moncks Corner, SC 29461.
