Lorraine Bergeron Gonnella Lorraine Bergeron Gonnella, 84, of Ladson, SC was welcomed into heaven on May 30, 2014. Jesus told us the greatest commandment is love; Lorraine lived this out every day as a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend. Friends and family are invited to a Celebration of Life service at St Georges Episcopal Church, 9110 Dorchester Rd, Summerville, SC, on Wednesday, June 4th at 1 PM. She was born on July 19, 1929 in Jay, Maine to the late Edward and Marie Anne Bergeron. She is survived by two sisters, Gertrude O’Hare and Rita Bergeron, both of Ladson, SC, her former husband Robert Gonnella, of Kittery, ME, and their children, Robert Gonnella (Barbara) of West Yarmouth, MA, Elaine Williams (Joel) of Billerica, MA, William Gonnella (Teresa) of Billerica, MA, Edward Gonnella (Donna) of Old Town, ME, Thomas Gonnella (Judy) of Gettysburg, PA, James Gonnella (Brenda) of North Charleston, SC, Susan Roberto (Fred) of North Charleston, SC, David Gonnella (Jennifer) of Portland, OR, and Steven Gonnella of Wakefield, MA. Additionally, she is survived by 23 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
