Daniel Caine Daniel Monteith Caine, II, 51, of Chapin passed away peacefully on May 22, 2020 at his sister’s residence. Born February 19, 1969 in Columbia, SC, he was the son of Dorothy Ann Knight and the late Daniel Monteith Caine, Sr. Daniel spent several years of his last years in California where he Loved the Ocean and the Climate there. He had recently moved back to South Carolina to be with his family to be Loved and Cared for. He was an avid outdoorsman but his true love was Fishing every chance he got. He also had an affinity for automobiles and loved restoring and painting vehicles. Most of all Daniel was a good Christian man and had a true passion and deep love for the Lord and he loved reading his Bible and sharing the scriptures with others. Daniel was a Great man, Father, Brother, Uncle and Grandfather. that deeply loved his family. Although Daniels Journey was swift here on Earth he has left a lasting impression on all those that were blessed enough to have had him in their lives and he will be truly missed until were all reunited together someday with our Heavenly Father. Surviving in addition to his mother are a daughter, Sarah Danielle Caine of West Columbia; a grandson, Caleb Caine of West Columbia; Shelva Caine of West Columbia (loving other mother) four half-sisters, Annie Caine of Cayce, Belle Piccolo of Chapin, Danielle Tison of Hilton Head and Cynthia Caine of West Columbia; two sisters, Dottie Dantzler of Virginia Beach, Sherri White of Woodstock, GA; two brothers, W. Jones Caine of Lexington and Tommy Wood, Jr. of West Columbia; a niece, Victoria Caine; two nephews, Bradon Jones Caine and W. Jones Caine, Jr.; a great-niece, Rae Lynn A. B. Caine and other extended family. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a half-brother, Earle Caine. No services will be held at this time. The family would be greatly appreciative to those that are wishing to make memorials please do so to the South Carolina Wildlife Federation at www.scwf.org. Woodridge Funeral Home is assisting the Caine Family.
