Dr. Anthony J. Pope, M.D., 93, of Surprise, Arizona, formerly of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away on August 7, 2018 surrounded by his family. Loving Husband of 74 years to Lillian. Proud Father of Richard Pope of Tiny Town, Arkansas, Robert Pope of Portland, Oregon, Anna-Marie Taylor of Parker, Colorado, Roger Pope of Arvada, Colorado, Russell Pope of Denver, Colorado, Raymond (Joni) Pope of Marble Canyon, Arizona, Michael Pope of Medford, Oregon, Teresa (Tom) Donihue of Hillsdale, Michigan and Jean Marie Thompson (Bill) Kenyon. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Brother of James (Kitty) Papa of Bay Shore, New York. Preceded in death by brother, Salvatore Papa. A graveside service with Military Honors provided by the United States Army will be held at 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018, Staging Area "C" The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the charity of your choice.
