Brandon M. Daniel, 33, of Parker, Colorado. Son of Kenneth Daniel and Mary O'Dell Daniel. Brother of Samantha Daniel. We say goodbye to a beloved son, brother and gifted engineer. Born 1987 Manhattan, KS, Brandon moved to Colorado when he was 5. Brandon attended Pine Lane Elementary, Pine Lane Intermediate, Sierra Middle School and Chaparral High School before graduating with honors from Colorado State University in December 2010. In college at CSU Brandon earned a bachelor’s in computer science with a minor in Mathematics, and was inducted into Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the honor society for computer scientists. His accomplishments include helping outfit disabled students with assistive technology at the ATRC. He worked at the USDA where he contributed his design and programming skills to several scientific software projects. These included AeGIS (the AgroEcosystems GeoInformation System), the NRMV (Natural Resource Model Visualizer), and the RZWQM (Root-zone Water Quality Model). Additionally, he coauthored a published scientific paper, and was featured in a textbook. This software has benefited science around the world. Brandon will always be remembered for riding motorcycles with the wind in his face, his uncanny ability to solve puzzles and HIS modest giggle. Brandon loved the lake for fishing, wave running, and inner tubing. Brandon especially enjoyed the Zoo and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Brandon loved grilling and campfires.
