Henry Rangel, 77, of Greeley passed away on Monday, April 29, 2019. He was born May 26, 1941 in Gill to Robert and Mary (Gonzales) Rangel where he grew up, later moving to Greeley where he attended schools. Henry enlisted in U.S. Marine Corp. After serving, he returned home and began working as a land surveyor and later worked for the State of Colorado, retiring as a utility inspector. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling. He was a collector of cars, rebuilding, selling and trading them. In his earlier years, he belonged to car clubs as well as the Moose Lodge and Eagles Club. He is survived by his son, Duane (Christine) Rangel; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Rangel; 2 brothers and 4 sisters. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Alfred in 1992. Life Celebration services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 7 at Adamson with a reception to follow. Inurnment 1 p.m. at Linn Grove Cemetery.
