Ann Clippard Kagi
October 12th, 1952 - January 13th, 2018
Ann Kagi, 65 years, of Loveland, CO passed away peacefully on January 13, 2018 at Pathways Hospice Care Center in Loveland. Ann was born October 12, 1952 in Little Rock, Arkansas to Virgil Bailey and Patricia (Clippard) Flemming. She grew up in Omaha, Nebraska attending Oakdale Elementary School, Valley View Junior High, and Westside High School. She then attended the University of Wyoming and shortly after married her husband of 42 years, Jim Kagi. Ann and Jim lived in Wyoming, California, Colorado, and Illinois, eventually settling back in Loveland, CO to be close to their family. Ann is survived by her husband Jim, children Scott (Stephanie) Kagi and Kerry Franklin, five grandsons Matthew, Joey, Thomas, Patrick, and Christopher as well as her father Bailey (Joni) Flemming, Sister Molly Holka, and brothers Tom (Teri) Flemming and Jim (Janice) Flemming. She is preceded in death by her mother Patricia (Clippard) Flemming. Ann had a way of making love grow around her every day. The grace, beauty, and kindness she was known for did not falter during her two-and-a-half year battle with ovarian cancer. She fought a courageous fight, and we will all hold her in our hearts and memories forever. Memorial contributions can be made in her name to the Colorado Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
