Danielle Lynn Ujvari (Mitchell), age 48, passed away peacefully on the morning of Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born on August 15, 1970 in Merced, California to her mother LaDonna Mitchell and her father John Mitchell. She was a graduate of Air Academy High School in 1988. She was a student for two years at Colorado State University where she met Pete Ujvari. They went on to marry in 1992. Together, they had two beautiful daughters, Paige and Jessica. Danielle was an incredible mother and homemaker for many years. Though Danielle’s life ended too soon, she lived a full one. Growing up, she loved all of her friends in both Atwater and Colorado Springs. In high school, cheerleading was a passion that brought her lifelong friends and was always a part of her through the positive energy and spirit that she carried with her in life. With her family, she took time to travel across the world to Mexico, Costa Rica, Spain, Italy and France. She loved every minute spent with friends and loved ones. She always had a special place in her heart for the music of the seventies and eighties and was always taking photographs of her favorite memories. Danielle had a vibrant personality and unique sense of humor that drew many people to her side and she will never be forgotten by those who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Paige and Jessica; husband Pete; mother and father Loni and John; stepmother Chris; sisters Tara and Andrea; and nieces and nephews Lauren B, Bailey, Quinn, Connor, Alex, Isaac, Anika, Lauren K, Brooke and Brittany…all of whom she loved very much. Though we will deeply mourn her loss, the loving and vibrant spirit of Danielle will continue to live on through her loved ones. An open invitation memorial service will be held in Danielle’s honor on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1:30 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Columbine Unity Church in Boulder, CO. All of those whose lives she touched are welcome to join us in celebrating her life.
