Linda Sessions
May 27th, 1942 - April 23rd, 2020
Linda was born and raised in Idaho Falls, ID. Linda was the oldest of six children. She was born to Dr. Joseph and Delberta Crowley Hatch. A graduate of Idaho Falls High school in 1959, she married Stan Sessions, August 3, 1962 in the Idaho Falls temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She graduated Utah State University in 1966 with a BA in English Literature. Linda and Stan had two sons Scott and Steve. She was the grandmother of three boys, Aaron, Daniel and Jacob. Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and actively led music and self-reliance programs throughout her life. Having a desire for genealogy, Linda tediously researched her ancestors and was transcribing cassette tapes from her grandma at her passing. She enjoyed volunteering for the Red Cross as a first aid instructor at the local elementary school. In addition, Linda was a Cub Scout leader. Always an industrious person and having a passion for food storage, Linda started a small food salvage business which evolved to a partnership with Kraft Foods. After moving to Greeley, she began working at a local retailer Joslin’s were she developed many close friendships and was promoted to manager over three departments. Linda had many hobbies including playing the piano and organ, cooking and sharing recipes. She continued these along with gardening and canning despite having debilitating back issues. She was an avid collector of valuable antiques. Linda loved her favorite dogs, Mandy moose and Mitzi mouse. Linda passed away peacefully in her home on April 23, 2020. She is survived by her husband Stan; son and daughter-in-law Steve and Norma; her two grandsons Aaron and Jacob; as well as five siblings and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her second grandson Daniel and son Scott. Cremation has been completed. Services to be held when it is safe for family and friends to gather. Services at a later date
