Mrs. Sidne Bossard died January 27, 2013 in Cloquet at the Sunnyside Health Care Center, where she had been a resident for the last 3 years. Sidne Irene Tischer was born September 10, 1918, in Big Lake, MN, daughter of Herman and Geneva (Walters) Tischer. She moved with her family to a farm near Barnum, MN when young and attended school in Barnum. She married Clarence Pellerin August 15, 1953. He died July 14, 1960. She married Floyd Edwards February 17, 1961. He died July 17, 1983. She married Eugene Bossard April 6, 1988. He died January 4, 2005. Sidne was always a very generous person. Her hobbies included gardening and quilting. She was a long time member of Scanlon Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Stanley & Eugene Tischer; two sisters, Trilby Hecker & Bernice Tischer; one sister-in-law, Doris (Smith) Tischer; one brother-in-law, Clarence Hecker; one nephew, Clemens Hecker; and one niece, Ione Novitski. She is survived by one brother, Lawrence Tischer, of Rochester; and one sister-in-law, Ruby Tischer, of Pine City; as well as 17 nephews and nieces ,Thomas Tischer, Kathleen Johnson, Robert Tischer, Duane Tischer, Kenneth Tischer, Bruce Tischer, Richard Tischer, Gail DeBoer, Larry Tischer, Darla Tischer, Darl Tischer, Della Dickhoff, Mary Jean Flasch, Gloria Stoneburner, Vernon Hecker, Lennon Hecker, and Algernon Hecker. A memorial service was held on Monday, February 18th, 2013 in Atkins-Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
