Jeffrey S. Ryan, 59 of Carlton passed away unexpectedly December 16, 2018 at his home while doing something he loved. He was born on April 30, 1959 in Cloquet to Richard and Gayle Ryan. On October 24, 2002 in Apple Valley he was united in marriage to Sherri Lilja. Jeff was a man who could do anything and everything, he loved his family dearly. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, riding his Harley, snowmobiling, renovating project after project, and tinkering in his garage as he wasn't one to sit still. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jeff is survived by his loving and supportive wife, Sherri Ryan of Carlton; daughter, Amanda (Anthony); son, Shane (Brittany); his awesome grandchildren, Brooklyn, Blake, Madison, Colton, and Brady; siblings, Linda (Vern), Kathy (Steve), Jean, Kelly (Jeff), Mike (Kaye); many nieces and nephews. In addition he holds in his heart Noah, Ahnna, and Sarah who were his project helpers. A memorial visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 in Atkins Northland Funeral Home, 801 14th Street, Cloquet.
