Joy Rowe Leach

Joy Rowe Leach, 54, of Wilson, North Carolina, died Friday February 2, 2007. She was born on June 22, 1952 in Saratoga Springs, New York. She is survived by her husband Michael J. Leach, of Wilson, NC. She is also survived by her two daughters, Amy L. Fred Whitener and Jillanne Mattioni, all of Wilson, as well as by her two sons, Michael W. Leach of Gloversville, and Aaron F. Leach of Myrtle Beach, SC. Joy is also survived by her mother Lillian Trainer Rowe of Saratoga Springs, by her four brothers, William S. Rowe IV, Mark Rowe, David Rowe, and Donald Rowe, and by her five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father William S. Rowe III. A visitation will be held Thursday February 8, from 4-7 pm at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 am at the funeral home. The Revered Chris Hamm will officiate. Interment will take place in the spring at East Galway Cemetery, East Galway, NY.
