Eileen Melendez

Eileen Toro-Melendez 51, of Morris New York, passed away on Saturday September 10th, 2016. Although the passing was sudden she now finds peace in Eternal rest. Born on May 7th, 1965, she was daughter of the late Hilda Violet Rodriguez and Israel Toro. She was an Amsterdam High school graduate Class of 1983 and was also an Amsterdam Rams Majorette. Eileen went on to study in the Medical field. She had worked at Amsterdam Memorial Hospital for 13 years as well as Local Doctors' Offices. Her hobbies she loved most included fishing, watching wresting, and being surrounded by family and friends. Eileen had a beautiful heart and smile to match. She was loved by all who were lucky enough to know her. Eileen is survived by her beloved family. Her Husband Kevin; her daughter Natalie (Marcel); her step children, Jillian, Kevin Jr., Steven (Shawnea), Donna Marie (James), and Liza; her Siblings, Belinda Auspelmyer, Israel (Yvonne) Toro, and Hilda (Stephen) Quill; her granddaughter Violet Jae; her aunt Nelida (Felix) Perez; her uncles Johnny Toro and Manuel Nazario; as well as many other grandchildren, loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins also survive. She is predeceased by her parents Hilda and Israel Toro. A Funeral Service for Eileen will be held on Friday September 16th, 2016 at 2pm at Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Calling hours will take placed from 12:30pm - 2pm prior to the Service at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at St. Michael's the Archangel Cemetery, Cemetery Road, Amsterdam. In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made in Eileen's memory to assist the family with the unexpected expenses incurred c/o Natalie Toro.
