October 23rd, 1938 - March 26th, 2016
Benito Oquendo-Cruz, of Waukesha, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. Benito was born on October 23, 1938, the son of Esteban Oquendo and Victoria Cruz. Benito was a loving companion, father and grandfather. Benito will be missed by his companion, Hilda Santiago; children, William Oquendo, Brenda Franco, Lucy Stokes, and Johnny Rosario; grandchildren, Rosemarie, Noel, Melissa, Thalia, Catalina, Roman, Joey, and Lexus; siblings, Jorge Cruz, Felipe Oquendo, Carmen Oquendo, Aleja Oquendo, Esteban Oquendo, and Benjamin Oquendo. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Angel Oquendo. A memorial service for Benito will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI. 53188.
