Stanley “Stub” Carl Lund, 88, Cambridge, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023, at his home. Stanley was born on December 21, 1934, in the Town of Christiana, WI to John and Clarice (Gilbertson) Lund. He married Kay Strohbusch on September 16, 1961, in Cambridge, WI. Stan worked as an installer/technician for the telephone company for 34 years. He served his country in the Air National Guard from 1952-1961. Stan enjoyed golfing, bowling, gardening, fishing, hunting, and especially spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Kay, of Cambridge; children Brian (Betsy) Lund, Lake Mills, Jody (Richard) Wolf, Rockdale; grandchildren Ben (Meg) and Mitchel (Jessica) Wolf, Johnathon and Carson Lund; great-granddaughters Kilynn, Keira, and Kenzie Wolf; sisters Jean Tengren, Shirley Hargraves, Ruth Hawkins, and Donna Jarlsberg; brother Lowell (Sharon) Lund; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Elaine Shrank and Carol Wallace; brother Richard Lund. Stanley, being the private person, requested no public funeral service be held.
