Lynda Dale Johnson Steuart, 78, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully at Seven Hills Health & Rehab on Thursday, September 12, 2024. Born August 29, 1946, in Lynchburg, VA, she was a daughter of the late William “Jake” Lewis Johnson and Darrie Belle Gilbert Johnson. She retired from BWXT and was of the Baptist faith. She loved her dogs and all animals in general. She leaves behind her fur baby, “Jack”. She could often be found crafting or working in her flower garden. She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer J. Caudill and her husband, Steven, of Forest; two sisters, Phyllis Saunders of Goode, VA and Eleanor Moyer, of Bedford, VA. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 7:00 pm at Diuguid Waterlick Chapel. Diuguid Waterlick Chapel, 434-237-2722, is serving the family.
