John "Jack" Pool
January 8th, 1934 - October 16th, 2024
Jack (John Maynard) Pool, 90, moved to Heaven on October 16th, 2024. Originally from Virginia, Jack graduated from Medical College of Virginia with degrees in Pharmacy and Dentistry. After serving in the Navy and National Guard Reserve, he practiced Dentistry for 33 years, was active in Missions and serving at VB Community Chapel. After relocating to Florida in 1993, Jack once again was a pharmacist. After both of these professional careers, he found his favorite calling as a missionary/servant locally. For many years he served as a Prayer Partner and Benevolence Director at Northside Baptist Church's Food Pantry and Benevolence ministry, sharing the Gospel and funds for those in need. After COVID, He and Debbie were warmly embraced by the people of Starkey Road Baptist, and though his health limited his activities, he never failed to worship online if not in person. He will be missed by his wife of 50 years, Debbie, and his son Jeff and wife Mary and their children, Sarah, Max Will and George. Also, daughter Susan, husband Phil and their children Ashley (Jarod) and Kevin (Becca), Debbie's sister, Paula and her family will also miss Jack very much.
