Caleb Dez Brownlee

Caleb Dez Brownlee, 22 of Charleston, SC passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2024 in Charleston. Born May 30, 2002 in N. Charleston, he was the son of Rosha Harned Johnson and Ted Adam Brownlee.
Caleb graduated from Woodland High School, St George in 2020. At his young age, he had held several different jobs with his favorite being at PEP Logistics since he got to travel to different states to work. He had made a profession of faith and attended Refuge Church before moving to Charleston. He was loved by so many, never met a stranger and had such a kind and loving heart. He loved his family and was always smiling. He was his mother's best friend and she never gave up on him. He will be missed dearly but he is at peace.
Surviving are: one son Sebastain Brownlee; his mother Rosha Harned Johnson and her husband Tony of Holly Hill; Adam Brownlee and his wife Jessica of St George; brothers Jaden Harned, Tristan Beams, and AJ Brownlee, two step brothers Ryder and Weston Johnson; sisters Joslyn Beams, Madison and Makinay Brownlee, one step sister Harlee Johnson; his grandmothers Estelene Brownlee and Cynthia Harned; a great grandfather James Warf; Jimmy Jackson whom he called Papa all his life. Caleb is also survived by aunts (his Aunt KK, Karen Chavis Modica held a special place in his heart); uncles, cousins, a niece and nephew.
Preceded in death: a great grandmother Harlow Warf, grandfather Clyde " Pa pa" Brownlee and his Uncle Adam Harned.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be directed in his memory to: Refuge Church Building Fund, 203 Eddie Chasteen Drive, Walterboro, SC 29488.
A celebration of Caleb's life will be held at 5 o'clock Friday evening, November 22, 2024 at Refuge Church, Walterboro, SC. The Reverend Craig Crosby officiating. The family will receive friends following the ceremony at the church.
